The prologue of this story is about to begin

Shauntal of the Unova elite four

“Still no good.”

With a heavy sigh, Shauntal crumpled up the loose - leaf paper on which she was attempting to draft out ideas for a new book. Chandelure hovered over in curiosity, and the elite merely tapped the Pokemon with her pen. “What do you think?”

Although it was fairly no use to inquire such things to a Pokemon, in her opinion, it did help to blow some steam.

“I think what I need is some inspiration!” And with that it’s like a bulb lit up in her head.
“It’s decided, then! We’ll simply go on a trip to look for inspiration!”

Now, if only she could figure out where to go.

vampyrcasanova asked,

Merry Christmas my dear little ghost writer, It seems that your the only one I am able to get ahold of from the league, never the less, I got you a present that I hope you enjoy. [/attaches a striped purple wrapped present containing a Swanna feather quill and dark purple leather bound notebook] I hope you enjoy your present my little bookworm, merry christmas! Grimsley.

To keep the joy from lighting up Shauntal’s face would be nigh impossible, once she had opened the present. They were simply that lovely. “Oh…!”

To say she was speechless would be an understatement.

“Merry Christmas, Grimsley. Thank you..!”

frustration

While Drifblim was a wonderful form of transportation, the balloon Pokemon was also good for venting one’s frustration to.

Which would be exactly what Shauntal was doing at the moment.

“Why is it so hard!” Drifblim merely gave her a vacant stare as an implication that it was listening, but the Elite knew that her companion was lending her an ear. After a few deep breaths, Shauntal slumped against the building she had just been inside not five minutes ago.

“Why is it so hard to shop for people?”
Drifblim couldn’t really reply, but gave her a semi-reassuring pat as a sign to know that it was there for it’s trainer. Shauntal had lost count of how many Christmases she had spent with the other Elites, perhaps she never started counting in the first place, but every year, she always ran into this dilemma. It didn’t matter if it was for a relative, a friend, or a co-worker, the author was notoriously bad at shopping for other people.

 ”Ugh…”

Tis the season…

vampyrcasanova:

Ah, alright then. Hmm, a tree? I suppose a tree would be nice. What does Alder think? After all it is his league.. Although, I dont think the old man would have a problem with it..

Well, it’s not like he’s here to ask, anyway. So we’ll just have to go by what we think is best! How exciting… Christmas here at the League Building!

vampyrcasanova:

Well it’s not like Marshal, Caitlin or Alder are around to help you instead. Sure, where about do you want them?

Oh, right along the window is fine!

Say, do you think we should put up a tree too? Ooh, or should we go all out and really decorate! We could have mistletoe, lights, and all sorts of things!

theresafireburning:

Fire blinked at her. He had just met the Champion of Hoenn. Now he’s meeting a member of the Unova Elite Four. This was a good day. “Hi there Shauntal. You have a nice name.”

“Why thank you!” She stood tall again, brushing the hem of her skirt back into place. With a push of her glasses back onto her face, she smiled. “So, it’s safe to assume that you’re a Pokemon trainer, mm?”
